    First of all, the look that you have tried to maintain for so long sounds like one of the most unappealing things I could imagine outside of a fat twelve year old boy with clothes that are two sizes too small. Try the bins. And bring a picnic lunch.

    Every design must be the successful result of a problem or need.

    Perhaps if I knew what specific use or purpose this garment would have, I would be able to take your question more seriously, and perhaps answer it more effectively.

    What specific electronics would you want in this garment? What need would this garment serve?

    OK, so let me get this straight...

    You want to make clothes with "electronics" built in.
    You can't sew.
    You have little knowledge of electronics.
    You have friends that are 7 and 9 year old girls.
    Do they know how to sew? Are they promising electricians?

    What put it into your mind to even do such a thing?

    I'd say fuck it and bake cupcakes. Make it a Valentine's Day thing.
