It was the '76 Olympics and Bruce Jenner was winning gold in an event I always thought would make a good name: DECATHLON.

If I were you, I'd look for inspiration in the Name of the Year Tournament:

    http://nameoftheyear.blogspot.com/

My pick for this year is Dick Smallberries Jr., but there are a wealth of other great names that might be suitable for your baby. May I suggest:

    - Pencilman Jefferies,
    - Spartacus Bernstein,
    - Romulus Marino, or
    - Spontaneous Gordon

I wanted to name my second child "Linus" but my wife really didn't like it and lucky for her it ended up being a girl and we named her "Sylvia".

    Nick,

I named my son this after watching the movie "The Sure Thing" where John Cusack tells the lady who picks them up hitchhiking that Nick is the best kids name.

"Yeah, Nick. Nick's a real name. Nick's your buddy. Nick's the kind of guy you can trust, the kind of guy you can drink a beer with, the kind of guy who doesn't mind if you puke in his car, Nick!"

And he's turned out to be a cool ass kid.

If you are having this much trouble choosing a name I might suggest that it isn't too late to abort and adopt a pre-named kid, or maybe just a dog. There are many that need homes.
