Value Village or Goodwill?

I'm not looking for top quality items, I mostly want super cheap clothes that I can deconstruct and make into more fashionable clothes. I've never been to Value Village and wanted to know if it's worth the trip or if it's expensive like Goodwill.

VV has a deal where a certain color tag is 50% off, but I think Goodwill does too. However, on Mondays, VV has a 99 cent color which is worth checking out; the other day I got 3 decent shirts and an okay pair of Levis for less than $4.

What about the Bins? You can get stuff by the pound there.

Value Village is totally Craptastic! At least the Goodwill puts the money you spend to good use.

If nobody suggested it yet, I hear the best place to get what you're talking about is "The Bins".
