I'm visiting Portland and wanna know where to have dinner

I'm here for a couple days and have eaten at a lot of great restaurants in the past (Andina, Pok Pok, Le Pigeon, Beaker and Flask) but want to know what I'm missing. What are your favorites for dinner? Any cuisine. I'm a big meat eater. Price doesn't matter as long as the food is worth it, in your opinion. Thanks!

Beast, tasty n sons, el toro bravo, DOC, Ken's artisan pizza, the food cart pod on SE 12th and Hawthorne (I recommend perriera creperie), pix patisserie, little bird, serratto, Irving street kitchen, mother's, and my favorite food cart: PB&J's. Look them up, read the menus, enjoy!

Hi Julia. If meat's what you're looking for, try Laurelhurst Market or Olympic Provisions. You can't go wrong with either.

You know who's a meat nerd/snob (besides me?) Chris Carriker of the Gilt Club in Portland, that's who. He proves it through his menu, and I haven't had a meal there I don't like. When I was a drinker they had some great cocktails as well.

Swank, intimate atmosphere, and a solid staff (even if they could use a new cork dork.)

A bit spendy, but based on your previous outings totally within the realm of doable. Try it out.

Try Higgins on SW Broadway downtown. Or there's a big meat fest at the Brazil Grill located downtown as well. Here's a link:
