Find the closest bike shop to your place. Getting to know your neighborhood shop mechanics is always a good idea. But, Seven Corners Cycles on SE 21st just north of Powell is always a great choice. Couple of years ago, I called needing a tube and they left one outside for me since they were closing, and said, "just pay the next time you come in." That's service you can't beat.

I also really like Joe Bike on SE Hawthorne at about 41st. Always helpful and Joe's a good guy.

If you've got limited funds, CityBikes has open shop every other Sunday. They've got mechanics who will answer questions and help you get it done. It might be $5 suggested donation.

If you've got a bike and little to no cash, come out to Grace Bible Church on Sundays. Wrench Raiders is a nonprofit who fixes bikes for free. We can help you fix it, teach you as we fix it, or just fix it for you.

Well don't worry for worrying's sake, but you have 2 irregularly shaped, asymetrical, multicolored moles there. If they really weren't there before, these are (unfortunately) worth getting checked out pronto, buddy.

Locally, I've had big black and white posters printed insanely fast for insanely cheap at Precision Images on Sandy.

I recommend Diesel Fuel Prints for a local sticker company. They printed some die-cut, custom, waterproof vinyl stickers for me that were great quality and cheaper than (almost) anywhere else in town.

Beast, tasty n sons, el toro bravo, DOC, Ken's artisan pizza, the food cart pod on SE 12th and Hawthorne (I recommend perriera creperie), pix patisserie, little bird, serratto, Irving street kitchen, mother's, and my favorite food cart: PB&J's. Look them up, read the menus, enjoy!

Are you a Project Runway fan? A couple years back there was a designer who got "auf'd" - Diana Eng. She liked to do the same thing. She wrote a book about it called "Fashion Geek: Clothes Accessories Tech". I don't have the book so I can't speak for the quality of the projects but it's about $2 used on Amazon. I'm not sure what your plans are but I'm picturing those super thin puck lights Ikea sells hooked up to a battery pack and sewn into a dress. Good luck & have fun.

Sort of piggy-backing on Vincent's comment, hire Cesar Millan. He can actually fix anything. Seriously. Plus his voice alone could probably calm down anyone.

But since it's unlikely that you are going to hook your dog up with the dog whisperer, why not maybe seek out a friend who has a kind calm & friendly dog that yours can learn to be happy around. Take them to the park together and see if your dog feels more comfortable with his friendly friend bein' all friendly to canine strangers. I've found that when a hyperactive dog is paired with a calm dog it likes, it can be a very positive influence.
